I'll let you know later on in this post.
First, let me quickly tell you about my Mother's Day.
Actually, I'm going to show you with pictures just what I got.
After a few stern looks from me....Angel got me Lillies
and...a canopy chair. Now I won't have to worry about sizzling under the sun at Devyn's games. I swear. I have no business out there, exposed like that. I can honestly smell myself cooking. Slowly baking. BBQ everywhere I go. Now....I'll be safe and comfortable.
Thank You, Baby!!
I came home from work and saw this on my door. Miah made if for me. She's such a sweetie!!
YUP.
I pick up Dom from school yesterday thinking that he's been doing great in school (with the exception of still needed a few packets to complete these next 3 weeks of school) and his teacher walks to the car with him.
I'm thinking she's coming over to talk to me and tell me how great he's been and what a pleasure he is to have in class.
Instead, she tells me that he's been acting up and talking back and disrupting class. She also tells me that from 12:30 to 2:00 that he doesn't do anything. He just sits there acting up. She is requesting that I pick him up at 12:30 everyday from now until the end of school.
All because of his attitude.
Now, I knew that his attitude was becoming a problem at home BUT I didn't know it was causing problems at THIS school.
Does anyone remember that agreement Dom and I have? You know, about how all he needs to do is keep his grades up and his attitude in check and he can dress however he likes and have his hair as long as he wants.
He obviously forgot about that agreement.
His grades are still pretty good. His attitude...not so much.
It's a package deal. Once that deal is broken...all bets are off.
I mean it when I say it.
All it takes is a turn of a dial....
Check out the nice boots Angel picked up for him. Angel is actually jealous because he never got Polo boots like these when he was growing up.
Miah was sitting there in one of the chairs and I took a good look at her hair. It was in desperate need of something.
she's happy in this heat with her new cut!!
Devyn wanted a cut too but as you can see...not quite time.
How was your Mother's Day??

Oh my gosh! That's one way to get him to behave!
That's a Smart Style Salon! I work at one of those!
That actually looks exactly like the one I work at too.

Yeah, well he and I have had a few talks about consequences. He's alright with it now. He knows it isn't the first time it's happened. It's just hair and clothes. His teacher said he was better today. I will be checking EVERYTIME I pick him up from school.

You're right. It's a Smart Style Salon. I wasn't actually sure (because I just walked into the nearest shop desperate to get this over with) and it's in our Walmart.
They gave the kids nice cuts.
Aaaaahhhh ... good to know I got someone to go through these teen years with and plan our children's punishments properly.
Awww man! I've been away & just catching up! Poor baby, but that was the agreement & he has to take responsibility for his actions. Besides when I was growing up my parents never made any agreements with me! He's very lucky to have parents who want to work with him.
Now that is what I am talking about....in the good old days the teacher leanded a helping hand...I got beat so many times at school by teachers I lost count by the 3rd grade! And yes i got beat the most when I lived in Baton Rouge hahahaha!
