I know...I know...

I know you guys want to cuss me out for being gone for awhile.

I haven't really been on Twitter and I've been MIA on this blog for awhile.

I don't really have a good excuse but just like my kids, I'm gonna pull one out of my ass.

Ummm...let me see which one works better...

I KNOW!....I have been majorly busy and haven't had time to tweet or blog.

No, that's a big-time lie.

Uhhh....I've been sick and haven't been able to get out of bed or do anything productive?

No, that's a lie too. (although, I have been feeling pretty crappy in my throat lately)

Alright, I'll just say it.

I've been addicted to facebook.

There, I've said it.

No, not staring at my long lost friend's pictures and hoping they would pop up in the chat list so I can catch them for a chat.
Nope, I was playing Farmville and Yoville.

I know they are child(ish) games but my brother called me up one night and I was already asleep. He asks me about farmville and told me to check it out (and he's OLDER than me). I went back to sleep but you know when I woke up I checked it out and started playing.

Damn addicting games.

I won't get into it but that's where I've been. Although, I have to say I have a pretty sweet farm back in Farmville but for some reason my friends in Yoville keep asking me to "take it slow" and "come back tomorrow". All I wanted was another kiss.
Oh, yeah..the catching up with old friends is nice too.

So, What's been going on with me you ask?

Workin, same ole same ole.
Devyn has started playing football. Tackle football. He's 8.
Right now, he's too nice. He is either afraid to get hit or afraid to hit someone else. We'll have to work on that.
See @studiogenious he does look cute...to me. (check out my boy's blog: The Infamous Nobody. He's got the insight on why men do what they do on his ManFive Fridays).
So here's Devyn at practice.....so cute.

Here he is at his first game. Not sure if he knows what he's doing but still...ughhh..so cute.

He's here at his first high school pep rally. No, he's not a child genious (yet), his coach took him to his high school and it was the homecoming pep rally. Devyn's team was mentioned as the upcoming Wolverines.
look at that sweet face..

I've also been nursing sick dogs. Chupa and Roary have been sick and I've been going back and forth from the vet with them.
Here's Roary. He was throwing up for days and I had to take him to the vet and hope he wouldn't die. I wouldn't be able to handle that again.

He was barely able to drink water days later. He still threw it up.

Then Chupa got sick. He got Parvo. I'm guessing Roary had it too but the vet said No.

I had about a week and a half of doggie vomit and sickness.

I'm so glad they are better now.

NOW, I want to tell you a story:
Saturday, Angel got rained out from work and came home and told me about a tiny black kitten that hangs around his work yard (an hour away from home). He says it comes around all the time and meows and they feed it and it hangs around his truck.
I was like, cool..you gonna bring it home?
He said,... maybe, if I see it tomorrow when I go to work, I might bring it home.
Alright, done.
So, I'm napping and a little while later, Dom comes and wakes me up to tell me that there was a kitten outside the house.
He brings it in and Angel recognizes it as the kitten from his work (an hour away from home).
Apparently, the kitten hitched a ride somewhere in Angel's engine (without getting chopped up) and survived and hour long ride on the highway all the way to my house.
(WHAT?! Angel was going to bring him to me anyway)
Angel may seem like a big barbaric heavy metal dude but you guys don't see him cuddling these animals.
It was meant to be.

I also want to officially give my sincerest CONGRATS to Dana over at Boy Oh Boy!

She's just had her 6th baby boy and I can't see how she does it! I am wishing her all the love and joy and patience. Check her out and give her some support and advice and whatever coupon sites you guys have.

Labor Day weekend.

Alright folks.

Here we are again, at the beach.

The only difference is that we didn't spend the night or the weekend even though it was a holiday. We spent a good deal of the weekend cleaning because since my mom isn't here for another 3 months, we figured it wouldn't be fair to let things pile up for her when she gets back.

Besides, we needed clean underwear. I happened to go out and buy new ones but they still pile up..lol.

Anyway, we went to the beach for only for the day on Sunday with the kids AND the little dogs because I'm a nut and I wanted to take them. Angel never refuses.

Here is base camp.

It's simple this time because it's only for the day. We didn't load up like we usually do with a trailer and everything.

We get to the beach and the puppies follow us to the water. Immediately they start whining and wanting to be picked up. Chupa was shivering like he was a chihuahua. Miah covered the puppy in warm sand and he went to sleep. Dom came over and added a little bit of decorations.

At one point, there was this awesome rainbow in the clouds. I don't know if you can see if very well but all of the colors were there.

This is the puppies (Roary and Chupa) after they've been in the water. They were actually a lot cooler than Venus and Serena were when we took them in the water.

Roary was very hesitant everytime the water approached. He ended up retreating underneath the car.

Dom and Miah were on the sand and I thought that was a great photo-op because they were engrossed in their own thing.

Devyn was venturing off too far in the water so I called him back. He saw Miah and Dom in the sand and he wanted to participate.

Here they are chillin.

Devyn was a little upset because Miah and Dom wouldn't let him mess with their "project" so he pouted. I told him I was going to take a picture so that I will have blackmail photos.

This was a picture I couldn't resist getting. My kids are getting big.

The puppies have their own nap time so they didn't mind the kids making a couple of beds for them.

On our way out, we saw a crap load of cars getting stuck in the thick sand. I was afraid that we were going to get stuck too because we weren't close to the water. We were in thick sand. Angel reassured me that we were going to be fine. He may as well have slapped me because I was near hysterical before we hit the main road.

The kids had a great time. They were KNOCKED OUT on the way home.

We didn't even get off of the island and they were crashed. They're going to get me for posting these pics but that's what happens when mommy has a camera.

If you have been following me Twitter than you know that I am going to be doing some fishing in a couple of weeks.
On the 25th, Angel and I are going to enter a fishing tournament. It's called the Sharkathon. We are going to be sleeping on the beach (again) and fishing for a couple of days straight. I'm entered into the woman's division so I hope I win. Angel mentioned that we were going to have to be doing some "extreme fishing" which made me chuckle a little under my breath. I have this HUGE pole and HUGE reel and it's mine all mine but I just like knowing that I have it. Now, I have to actually use it and try to win something.

More info on all of that later on....

Devyn just came in and wanted to see the picture I was posting and he made this funky face asking me why'd I have to take the pic when he was asleep?

I will keep you posted on the upcoming event that is Sharkathon.

Keep in mind people. I volunteered. I know that Angel just can't get out of this 2 week trip I have planned next year to NY to visit my bro and SIL. I'm excited and he better get himself excited too. I'm talking Riverdance and everything!
P.S. Dom is writing in his blog again. Check it out.

Shipped out...

Well, today my parents are on their way to NY to visit my Big Bro and my SIL Sherlisa.

We took my parents out to eat yesterday because I knew we weren't going to be seeing them for quite some time. There is "talk" about everyone coming to Texas for Christmas and that would be super cool but so far...my mom is the only one I hear talking about it. My parents are going to be gone until January. That's a long time to be fending for myself here, geez.

My mom does everything for me. When she's not here cleaning and cooking a couple of days out of the week I let the kids take over any job she would be doing. Now it's time for her to help out my bro so I guess it's his turn since he still has young ones and mine can all wipe their own asses and prepare their own meals.

It's time to pass them on (until they come back..bwa ha ha hahahaha).

Here are my parents.

Joe and Dorthey.

As you can see I'm a product of a bi-racial couple.

Here are my kids with their grandparents. They had a good time eating all they could even though we kept interrupting my dad's ice cream eating time.

I just hope they have a pleasant and safe trip up there and that everyone has a good time!
I took this picture earlier today of Venus and Serena with Miah and Devyn. The dogs were taller than the kids when they stood on their hind legs.

My company has already hired a new physical therapist assistant so the area that I was covering has been decreased and THAT is a good thing. I won't have to drive so far to see a patient. I've been working and working and with school starting up I've been so tired and worn out because of the transition.

I will catch up and get my groove soon enough so that things will start to fall into place.

For now, I will try to post as much as possible but if any of you know me...GROUP NAP will always prevail!

Trust me, I WILL get my sleep.

A day at the beach!

Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day. Weather was in the 80's.

Angel and I wanted to take the kids to the beach (okay...so it' wasn't really my idea cause we all know I'm not a big fan of the beach) and we all had a great time.

We packed up the dogs because Angel said he had taken them before with the kids and they ran and played in the dunes with the kids.

Cool. I want to see the puppies play!

Now, we were a little nervous because we have never taken the dogs on the highway in the back of the truck. We've only taken them down the street to the park. We tied them down so that it wouldn't be possible for them to raise their front paws over the side or tailgait of the truck.

We drove slowly and watched them the whole way.

This is Serena.
She decided it was more fun to stand most of the way and make us piss our pants the whole trip.
She also loved the wind and barked for absolutely nothing!

Then, she did what she always does.
Played with Venus. They started their play-fighting again.

Here's what I was drinking (and believe me...I was drinking a lot).

I will never pass the test to become a Hobo. I could never keep the paper bag on my beer can. It even had a hole in the bottom where my beer kept sliding out.

So we get to the beach and we let the dogs out. They played in dunes...and chased each other...
...and then together.....PRANCED AWAY!

Now, I was panicking because they were just prancing farther and farther away and my voice wouldn't carry because of the fricken "soothing sounds of the ocean."

My babies were running away!!
Then they turned around and came back.

Whew. I was worried.

THEN...a TRUCK DROVE BY....and they ran down the beach after the truck.

Angel had to jump into his truck and chase them down.

I had to run after Angel to help him after he caught the dogs because he wasn't going to be able to lift one into the back of the truck without the other getting away. I caught up with him and the dogs and walked one back with me on the leash.

We gave them some water and tied them up!!

They almost escaped!
No one escapes!!

I'm not letting these dogs get away THAT easily!

Here's Dominique. He dug this little cave out of the dune.

They all took turns taking pics in it.

Miah wanted to be in the water even though it was pretty cold. I didn't get in.

Devyn even went into the water.
ALL of the kids went into the water. I told you..Angel has made them into fish!!
Here's base camp!
We had it made!

That's all of the pictures that I took because by this time..I had a killer buzz going on and the rest of the day was pretty much a blur.

I DO know that Angel didn't drink much and he got us home safely. He made sure that the kids were showered and fed and put in bed.

Rarely have I ever had to place him in the position to take care of the kids because I just wasn't able to. I think this time makes 2.

I woke up at 5:30 this morning and took my shower for work. It's probably because I was passed out at 9pm.

This weight loss had definitely messed up my ability to handle alcohol. I'm glad Daddy was there to take over.

Another Vet Visit...

So...I had to take the dogs BACK to the vet yesterday morning because we noticed the night before that they had taken their staples out.

They weren't even bandaged. Just stapled.
Of course the dogs didn't really think anything of it but c'mon!
There was an incision made all the way through to their internal organs and they were jumping around and playing with this big open gash on their bellies. BOTH OF THEM.

I was a little horrified that their guts were going to be flopping around hanging while they played.

Anyway, I took them back and they bandaged them up...pretty crappily I might add.

The dogs are fine as you can see from the pics...

Here they are in the back of MY truck.

I got them home. This is Venus.

Here is Miah and I with Serena.

Apparently every night I'm going to have to re-bandage their tummies so that the cut will close and heal.
This sucks.

GETTIN THINGS DONE!

This weekend was a weekend of getting things done.

First, let me tell you about what's changed in our household.
My father-in-law is chillin with us for awhile.
We won't get into details.
I like him being here because he is fixing things.
IT'S AWESOME!

My kitchen sink used to barely dribble water out of the faucet and he and my uncle Benny installed another one and now it works. Now the kids can wash dishes without complaining about the water pressure.

Remember those beds I was telling you about?

Well, they finally got done.
That's right, Baby!
Having 2 construction workers in the house sure has it's benefits.

Dom's bed

Miah's Bed
Devyn's Bed.

Very simple beds? Yes. I just wanted them to be off of the floor. I can't stand to sleep on matresses on the floor. My kids shouldn't have to.

Another thing we did this weekend was get our dog's "fixed". It was cheap too.

(So cheap that I'm thinking of taking Tattoo in to get HIS pellets popped off.) This one is Venus. Poor girl. The dog's were so drugged when I went to pick them up. I felt so bad for them. I know they must have been scared and in so much pain.
They had a rough ride on the way home in my uncle's car.

They're less frisky so I'm going to take advantage of it and love on them all I want.
Of course, today...this morning when I went out to check on them, they nearly knocked me over and they went right back to gnawing on my arms.
They're fine!
DOWN TO BUSINESS....................................

Alright, Honkeie2...
Like I said in my last post. This may be your chance to make a come-back.
I obviously overindulged...(a little).
Current weight: 171.2
Previous weight: 167.8
Current weight *gulp* ...gain: 3.4 lbs.
NOT GOOD.

Guess I'm back to my stupid healthy shakes.
No more Valentines cakes and goodies and fudge and huge sweettart bags that were on sale for .75 at Walgreens.

*sigh*

Back to thinking about the treadclimber again.

Quit stallin Honkeie2 and hurry up and post!!!
