So I called into work Sunday (to let them know I wouldn't be working today) because I was feeling like crap. I went to bed last night feeling like someone was suffocating me and squeezing my pelvic area. I told Angel that my body felt like I was going into labor all over again.
I had a fever of 101.4 and it was horrible.
Then I looked at the PDA that the company gave me and the screen was cracked. It's a touch-screen and it won't work with the screen being cracked.
*sigh* what else could go wrong.
I got up this morning and took the kids to school, came back and went to sleep. While I was sleeping I heard thunder and rain. I LOVED IT.
I woke up around 12:30 and did some laundry and just hung out for awhile. Cyn came over and we started watching the movie "WIT".
She went and took a nap in my room and I left to go get the kids from school.
I also went to my work to take back the PDA. They took one look at me and grimaced.
Then I opened my mouth and tried to speak and my voice came out strained, squeaky and cracked. They told me not to come back to work until WEDNESDAY.
They also told me that they got me my company car.
Yeah!!

On another note:
My parents are going to be moving in with me on Wed for a month.
Now, there is an upside and a downside to this.
Upside:
1) My laundry will always be done
2) Dinner will always be ready
3) The house will always be clean
4) The yardwork will always be complete
5) I have live-in babysitters
Downside:
1) My parent's currently don't own a vehicle.
2) Technically, I will be living with my parents (even though they are actually living with me)
Now, I know what you are thinking...
Since you are going to be using a company vehicle, why don't you let them use your 2007 4Runner?
Answer: Uhhhhh..NO!
My mom (bless her heart) has demolished many a vehicle on her mad dashes to bingo.
She will deny it to her grave but I KNOW. I have seen the wave of destruction left after her wake.
No Thanks.
I love my truck and intend to keep it.
The only time I let her drive my truck was when we were moving from Corpus to here and even then..I didn't let her out of my site. Angel was driving the U-haul, I drove his truck and she drove mine.
I am officially a taxi.

Dom (my son) wanted his own blog. I helped him create one. HERE IT IS.
He will be blogging as long as his grades keep up. If you see his blog deleted...'nuff said.
I'm a little curious as to what he has to say.
I did let him know that blogging is not the same as texting and there isn't a bunch of abbreviated crap and that he has to use full sentences, capitalization and punctuation if he wanted to keep his blog site.
Let's see how long this lasts.

Blogging for Dom may be a good idea.
1. It helps him in journalism/english class. He gets to do a 'creative writing' assignment without realizing hes doing it.
2. you get to see what he really thinks when he writes HIS 'im sorry mom if you thought i was being selfish for blah blah blah'.
3. Remember that writing is a self expression of his thoughts, and that if he doesnt write 'my mom is awesome' all the time, for you not to go ape shit on him.
Yeah.
I thought about that too. I showed him an example of one of my friend's blog and I had him read it to me out-loud. It was written like a child had written it even though this person is in their 40's.
He got the picture.
HA HA..and I won't go ape shit on him.
Sorry to hear that you weren't feeling so well. But you did have some good things in there. Wish I could have a company car..... uhhh if I had a company. HA! Don't know if I could have my peeps stay that long though! Good luck.
Good luck with the parents. Mine are ok for a couple hours then I'm ready for them to go home. Can't imagine a month!
Enjoy your parents while they're here. My dad passed away 3 years ago and I still think of him 20 times every single day.
Ok, So..
I totally want to thank all who visited my son's site and gave him words of encouragement.
I believe that it will help him want to continue to write because he knows that there are others out there who will respond to him and what he has to say.
Thanks guys.
You made me an even more proud momma than I already am.
I wish my son cared about writing down his thoughts, but then again I am worried that there's nothing but white noise going on upstairs for that kid ... ok, white noise and the NFL.
