This blog is filled with whatever I decide to blab about. I love all my family members and friends so since you cannot be here to fully witness the spectacles or theatrics...I will tell all...maybe even show all. So hold on cause here we go...

What's on the menu this time you ask???
Let's see, there's:
1. Cakey like Snacks
2. pickles
3. popcorn
4. A fruit bowl
5. Pay no attention to that Chelada hiding behind the pickle jar (I don't know what that is doing there, geez)
6. Strawberry pink lemonade (Miah made)
7. Cotton Candy
8. Pizza.
Okay, so......Angel and Dom just got home (apparently they went fishing and Angel conveniently left his phone here at home so I couldn't call and nag about being home in time for Movie Night) and now it is time to start the evening.
Have a good weekend everyone.

This past weekend was shitty. With the exception of 1 AM thru the rest of Sunday.
All I want to know is:
How come you can put yourself out there to help and be there for everyone but when the time comes when you need a shoulder to lean/cry on...you get crap?
I drove to Corpus by myself and spent Friday evening and all of Saturday there. I decided to come home early because the support that I was looking for just wasn't there. Was I expecting all of Corpus to rally together and throw me a pity party?
No.
I just wanted my best friend to "be there".
Wasted. Fucking. Trip.
Wasted. Fucking. Money.
But, rest assured.....I won't be sticking my neck out to help ANYONE the way I've been helping. Everyone can just worry about their own damn selves. Please, no one call me with your problems.
I don't want to hear them. I really don't care anymore.
Obviously, I've got my own problems so there will no longer be room for yours.
Or yours.
Or yours.
I won't be traveling anywhere to be helping anyone. Those times are past.
I'm just going to be worrying about Me and Mine.
Now, with that being said, I had a better Sunday so I guess that makes up for the shit weekend I had.
Angel was at the beach with the kids so when he came home with them Sunday afternoon, we all had movie night.
Yes, with Pickles and Popcorn.(Only Miah and Devyn are in the pic because Dom went with Angel to my Mom's house to clean up doggie poop. So, Bro....tell Mom and Dad that we're on top of it and that the house is secure.)
We watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Madagascar 2.
Miah had been wanting to watch Ben Button so we did and it was really good. Madagascar....Hilarious. None of the kids got bored. We watched both movies and had a good time. Then it was time for the kids to get ready for bed.
I got to lay in bed and watch a marathon of Medium that I had been saving to watch with Angel but I figure they will be well into the next season by the time Angel actually sat to watch them.
At the moment, UFC is taking priority.Posted by ~Sheila~ at 4:47 AM 8 comments

Alright people.
The whole thing about the pickles and popcorn isn't as weird as you guys are thinking.
It's simply pickles and popcorn.
Not pickles and popcorn mixed together in a bowl.
Just some pickles and some popcorn.
Basically....when you go to the movie theatres, you buy this stuff at the concession stand. Pickles, popcorn, candy, hot dogs, drinks, slices of pizza..etc
Well since I rarely go to the movies with all of the kids cause it's so damn expensive, we pop popcorn in the microwave.I buy the box of 18 packaged microwave popcorn for like $4 and I buy a huge gallon jar of pickles for $4 and the kids can sit and eat whatever they want.
If we have several movies that we want to see (I usually let the kids each pick out a movie from blockbuster or we watch the new releases that come in the mail), then we do it on a weekend and make a day of it. I will order pizzas, buy 6 packs of different flavored sodas, buy candy and fruits, make popcorn and we all sit on the floor (with all of the snacks on a tablecloth that I buy from the dollar store) and we pig out.
An all day munch-fest.
It's the cheapest and the most economical for me and the kids.
The majority of the time we just have popcorn in a bowl and chunks of pickles in another bowl.
If we do happen to plan to go to the movies (it's ALWAYS the dollar movies...the movies actually cost a dollar) then I will buy the big bucket of popcorn there and sneak in baggies of goodies for all of us. Chopped pickles included.
See.
Nothing weird about it. Just spending quality time with my kids and making memories.
(unfortunately I didn't expect those memories to manifest in Miah's writing...but....) see previous post
