My New Babies..

...are exactly that. Babies.

The only thing is...I am honestly, seriously considering changing their names to PISSY and SHITTY.

That's all they do. Eat. Drink. Play. Shit and Piss and Sleep (not necessarily in that order). Oh wait, I forgot...WHINE. They do. At least it isn't all night. They sleep most of the night but around 2 or 3 am they start to whine because they want to go out. That's a good thing cause I would prefer that they whine to go out than not and just mess all over.

It's working out really well with Angel here not working. I can go to work and he can stay home with "the babies". He also gets up with them in the middle of the night and sits outside with them while they go. I told him that it's an even trade. I had been the one to get up with Miah and Devyn when they were babies in the middle of the night because I wasn't working at all back then.

I still love them though. They are Awesome.

So here's the family inventory:

3 kids (4 if you count my husband)
2 hamsters
2 puppies
1 gerbil
1 cat

Oh yeah...and 2 parents until Friday.

I'd say I have a house full.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Dom is up to his old tricks again.

I was at work and his Math Teacher called me and told me that he hasn't been doing his work. He got 3 zeros for some work he never turned in (I found the incomplete papers in his binder) and he got a 37 on his 6 week exam.

RIDICULOUS!!

So....I don't know if any of you remember this post or this one?

We have this agreement that as long as he keeps his grades up and behaves in school that he can dress however he wants and can have his hair as long as he wants.

Once again...

He gets his report card on Thursday.

--------------------------------------------------------------

I am preparing for my return trip to MEXICO this Sat. morning. (Yes, Angel goes with me and is my translator..otherwise I will just be sitting there grinning at everyone and nodding yes to whatever they said). I am making a list of what I want to bring back since I get paid on Friday.

None of it includes Vicoden though...Or Roids..OR Medicinal Mary-Jane...GUYS!

And obviously that boneless girl on Dom's blog IS a little mesmerizing and I'm not just saying that cause I'M A GIRL.

Ahhhhh....

I have been in agony for the past few months.

I went to the dentist when I lived in Corpus and he put a filling in my tooth. He said I needed it. Then, a few days later, my tooth started to hurt when I would drink something cold. It got progressively worse and was at the point were I had to drink EVERYTHING through a straw and even then, if any of the fluid I drank touched that tooth, it hurt like hell.

THEN..it got to the point where regular room temperature liquid was killing me.

Turns out...the dentist drilled too close to the nerve where he put the filling in and it messed me up big time.

Finally. Yesterday. I got it taken care of.

I went to the dentist in Mexico.

I know..I know.

You guys are probably shitting yourselves right now thinking...MEXICO???

Why would you go to MEXICO??

Well...cause it's cheap AND 15 min away from me AND I didn't have to make an appointment AND I could get it done on a Saturday.

$10 for an X-ray
$35 for a temp. filling

BAM! Back on the street drinking Dos Equis with salt and lime within the hour.

Now I'm running around taking advantage of the fact that I can drink anything I want without worry. I do have to go back next week to have a perm filling put in or get it checked out but whatev. I could bring back a bottle if I want.

------------------------------------------------------------
HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

OK..so my (and Angel's and my grandmother's) birthday isn't until Oct 19th but who cares. I got my present already.

Check it out....

Not one...but TWO Red Doberman Pinchers puppies. Two months old.

They are super cute. We named them Venus and Serena (Angel's idea).

I tried to tell Angel that they were both of our birthday presents but he said "Nuh uh, they are YOUR presents". Which means that he is still on his Bronco kick.

Who cares??? I got new babies!!!

---------------------------------------------------------------

OKAY....

That little "ITEM" Dom has on the bottom of his blog is a little creepy. I'm gonna have to have a little talk with him about it. If you are wondering what it is..you have to click on the girl and drag her out of whatever position she is stuck in and let her fall. She will keep falling until she get's stuck again.

CREEPY.

Pickles and Popcorn

Alright people.

The whole thing about the pickles and popcorn isn't as weird as you guys are thinking.
It's simply pickles and popcorn.
Not pickles and popcorn mixed together in a bowl.
Just some pickles and some popcorn.

Basically....when you go to the movie theatres, you buy this stuff at the concession stand. Pickles, popcorn, candy, hot dogs, drinks, slices of pizza..etc

Well since I rarely go to the movies with all of the kids cause it's so damn expensive, we pop popcorn in the microwave.I buy the box of 18 packaged microwave popcorn for like $4 and I buy a huge gallon jar of pickles for $4 and the kids can sit and eat whatever they want.
If we have several movies that we want to see (I usually let the kids each pick out a movie from blockbuster or we watch the new releases that come in the mail), then we do it on a weekend and make a day of it. I will order pizzas, buy 6 packs of different flavored sodas, buy candy and fruits, make popcorn and we all sit on the floor (with all of the snacks on a tablecloth that I buy from the dollar store) and we pig out.
An all day munch-fest.

It's the cheapest and the most economical for me and the kids.

The majority of the time we just have popcorn in a bowl and chunks of pickles in another bowl.

If we do happen to plan to go to the movies (it's ALWAYS the dollar movies...the movies actually cost a dollar) then I will buy the big bucket of popcorn there and sneak in baggies of goodies for all of us. Chopped pickles included.

See.

Nothing weird about it. Just spending quality time with my kids and making memories.

(unfortunately I didn't expect those memories to manifest in Miah's writing...but....) see previous post

Traumatizing Everyone...

I just came across a story that Miah was writing for school and it totally blew my mind.
I was like...HOLY CRAP.

You guys have to read it for yourselves...

This is coming from an 8 yr. old little girl.

She seems fine but I surely didn't know that this movie would be like that.

I know...I know...we should have known better. We did warn her that the movie would be scary and she did tell us "I like scary movies".

Guess she doesn't like them anymore.

My poor baby. She had to write all about it in school.

I feel so ashamed.

Snowball (my big pussy)

Yeah... Yeah ...Jared.
I knew that would get your attention.

ANYWAY......

When my mother in law moved out and gave us her house, she also gave us Snowball.

She's an awesome outside cat. She's super sweet and she lets the kids drag her around without freaking out and clawing at them in panic. She also likes her belly rubbed.

The funny thing about Snowball is that she is scared of the hamsters. CRAZY SCARED! I discovered this one day when I was wondering what would happen if I decided to make Snowball an inside cat. I was mostly worried about her getting close to the hamsters and making vittles out of them. I placed the hamsters on her and she laid there without a care in the world.

NOT A PROBLEM!

UNTIL....

...SHE SAW THEM!

She freaked out and ran out of the room ...like a cat out of hell.

I don't really understand why she's afraid of them. She is after all...a CAT and they are..RODENTS. I thought they were supposed to be chasing them and trying like hell to fit them in their mouths.

Oh well...Truth be told...Snowball is ......a Pussy.

I'm glad that...

1) My kids listen to me and know that 'mommy is the boss' (even when Daddy is here)
2) My kids don't wet the bed anymore (Miah just wandered over to me cause she woke up and had to pee and it's 5:35am)
3) My kids do their homework most of the time without me having to get after them (well, I still have to question DOM about it...sometimes)
4) At least 2 out of 3 of my kids like to read (DOM especially)
5) Angel may be coming to work closer to home (even though he is a big mess maker)
6) I moved the DVR to my bedroom (cause I hate sitting in the living room while the kids are watching cartoon network waiting for my time to watch something)
7) My job is super easy (I am actually working 3-4 hrs out of the whole day for a whole days pay...shhhhh)

There's more glads but that involves lots of foods and naps so we won't be listing those.

HEY ANGEL...WHERE ARE YOU?!?

Angel took off last night to go visit his Dad and see about starting work again.

But guess what...

JUST LIKE I THOUGHT!
Fishing withdrawal.
